About Adriana

A life-long artist and creative, I’ve been tattooing at Self-Inflicted Studios since 2020. My portfolio spans black and grey illustrative realism, fine line, and traditional—styles I’ve admired since I began my career.

Much of my art is inspired by my interests, from the beauty of nature, classical art, and historical intrigue, to high fantasy, the macabre, punk, and pinup subculture. Special interests of mine include Tudor-era history, Classic and Soviet Russian literature, philosophy, folklore, mythology, theology, and Renaissance art.

The name ‘prettyvacantt’ originated from my involvement in the punk scene. Years ago, I created an Instagram to showcase my art and DIY clothing, drawing inspiration from Sex Pistols’ Pretty Vacant. The page later became a way to share my apprenticeship online and now serves as a digital portfolio I update every so often.

Outside of the shop, I’m a literary fiction writer, Sphynx cat mother, and traveler.
